Mobile Tech Lead

The AA (Automobile Association) is building a more connected, modern and purpose-driven organisation. The Mobile Tech Lead will take ownership of the AA's mobile platform, combining hands-on engineering with people and technical leadership to build secure, high-performing and scalable iOS and Android applications.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the AA's mobile platform; Drive the technical direction, delivery and strategic evolution of iOS and Android applications; Lead and develop the mobile engineering team; Build secure, high-performing and scalable mobile experiences; Partner closely with product, design and engineering stakeholders; Shape architecture and coding standards through to release management, CI/CD automation and AI-enabled engineering practices; Drive engineering excellence and work across teams to deliver seamless customer experiences

Requirements

Deep expertise in Flutter/Dart; Strong understanding of modern mobile architecture; Proven track record delivering successful applications across both iOS and Android platforms; Hands-on writing and reviewing of production code; Leading, mentoring and developing engineers
