Nursing Assistant

Estia Health offers dual care worker opportunities, with rostered traditional Care Worker shifts or blended Care and Nutrition shifts at identical pay rates. The role involves supporting residents with daily life, health, activities and dignity in one of Estia Health's aged care homes.

Responsibilities

Lend a hand with daily life, making sure residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed, including helping them with their meal and drinks; Work with the team to support those with challenging needs; Help keep residents' bodies and minds active; Keep tabs on residents' health, helping with treatments; Be a friend to residents; Make sure every resident's privacy and dignity is respected

Requirements

A real desire to make a difference in people's lives; A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care; Time spent working as a caregiver or similar; Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
