On-Call Medical Transportation Driver - Richmond, VA

Strata Critical (formerly Trinity Medical Solutions) provides logistics support and life-saving transportation for organ donation and transplantation teams. The On-Call Driver role is part-time with on-call availability required (average of 8-12 hours per trip, number of trips varies week-to-week). Compensation starts at $23/hour, plus a $2/hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Responsibilities

Provide professional ground transportation for surgical teams, specimens, and critical medical equipment; Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service; Adhere to all traffic laws and Strata Critical operational procedures; Perform vehicle safety checks and fleet maintenance tasks; Maintain constant communication with logistics coordinators and respond to dispatch calls within 10 minutes; Handle medical specimens and sensitive cargo with utmost care and precision

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required; Valid driver's license with a clean 39-month driving record; 2+ years of driving experience; Excellent customer service and relationship building skills; Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods; Reliable cell phone access and availability for on-call shifts; Must reside within 30 minutes of the Richmond Hub located at 10054 Whitesel Rd., Ashland, VA 23005; On-call availability required
