Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Follow and promote company customer service programs; Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent phone service by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash, check, and credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, freight receival, stocking, fronting and facing, cleaning; Prepare merchandise returns, assist with stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning trouble codes, replacing headlight capsules; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
