Personal Assistant

A 38-year-old male with Autism, learning difficulties and medication-controlled Epilepsy is looking for a proactive, reliable, enthusiastic and friendly Personal Assistant for 8 hours per week in the Swale area/Sittingbourne. The role involves support with day-to-day tasks, meal planning, shopping, housework, reassurance, and encouraging an independent and healthy lifestyle. Permanent post subject to DBS check and satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day tasks and build a rapport; Support a healthy and active lifestyle through diet planning and activities such as walking and swimming; Provide support as outlined in the support plan; Meal planning; Shopping; Supporting with housework; Reassure and listen to worries; Proactively encourage following the support plan; Communicate with the main carer (sister)
