Personal Assistant

Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant. I am a lady living with long-term physical and mental health conditions, currently managing a busy household with my husband, two lively young children, aged 2 and 4 and a dog. I have a dry sense of humour and a friendly, down-to-earth approach, but I can find it difficult to accept help therefore patience, encouragement and a calm, warm presence are essential. I am looking for a Personal Assistant who can support me with practical day-to-day tasks, helping to reduce pressure and create more balance at home.

Responsibilities

Food preparation and batch cooking for the week, accommodating my food allergies; Support to clean and tidy the kitchen after cooking; Meal planning that supports healthy, nutritious choices for the whole family; Support with shopping - either accompanying me or helping me access the community to do this

Requirements

Patience and the ability to reassure and support someone who sometimes struggles to accept help; Comfortable around young children and a friendly family dog

Nice to have

Experience working in a family setting or with individuals with long-term health conditions
