Quality Control Operative

This is a “hands on” role working as part of a small team within a busy QC/packing department. The purpose of this role is to maintain the highest standards of quality control throughout the finishing, packing, and dispatching process.

Responsibilities

This is an on-site position.; Consistently maintaining high standards of Quality Control.; Finishing (cutting/counting) & packing printed products.; Ensuring check procedures are followed.; Preparing for daily dispatches ensuring correct shipping information is supplied.; Stock control.; Investigate operational incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.; Identify workflow bottlenecks and proactively develop practical solutions to optimize process efficiency.

Requirements

Experience in a production environment.; Keen eye for details and good organisation skills.; Strong analytical mindset with experience using data-driven problem-solving techniques.; Proactive, dynamic, and able to use initiative.; Self-motivated and reliable with a desire to learn new skills.; Ability to work with tight deadlines remaining calm in a busy environment
