We’re looking for a Relief Chef / Chef Manager to drive menu innovation, mentor kitchen teams, and ensure consistent excellence across multiple sites throughout the midlands.

Responsibilities

Maintaining exceptional food safety, hygiene, and allergen controls; Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, EHO, and Genuine Dining standards; Leading a strong food safety culture through training, coaching, and attention to detail; Delivering consistent quality and safe systems across all retail services; Creativity & Menu Innovation; Design and deliver modern, exciting menus that encourage engagement and repeat visits; Champion seasonal produce and premium ingredients; Balance innovation with volume, pace, and commercial awareness; Drive sustainable practices, reducing food waste and carbon impact

Requirements

Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate; NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent); Food Allergen Awareness Traini; Menu planning and development; High-volume food production; Modern cooking techniques; Special dietary requirements management; Recipe standardisation; Food presentation and quality control; Passionate about food; Creative and innovative; Organised and detail-oriented; Calm under pressure; Commercially aware; Strong communicators; Customer-focused; Results-driven; Excellent team leaders
