Reservations Agent

The Reservations Agent is responsible for creating, modifying, and canceling guest reservations. Agents are required to send out confirmation emails, answer guest questions, resolve guest concerns, and access guest's requests. This individual must also process group, travel agent, company, internet and FIT reservations, including processing rooming lists and routing payments properly.

Responsibilities

Creating, modifying, and canceling guest reservations; Sending confirmation emails; Answering guest questions; Resolving guest concerns; Accessing guest requests; Processing group, travel agent, company, internet and FIT reservations; Processing rooming lists and routing payments properly; Answering telephones according to Pyramid Global Hospitality standard; Communicating with other departments to fulfill guest needs; Maintaining work area neat and organized; Reporting all unsafe conditions immediately; Updating information in computer systems as needed; Completing other duties as assigned to include cross training; Attending all mandatory meetings; Following checklist for required duties and timelines

Requirements

Flexible availability; High School diploma; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Fluent in English (able to speak, read, and write); Excellent communication skills for phone or in-person interactions; Customer-centric attitude; Computer proficiency to learn and utilize the resort's property management system

Nice to have

College degree preferred; Previous reservations experience beneficial; Preferably in a hotel/resort
