Resident Care Coordinator

The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day operations related to resident care while promoting and integrating the mission and philosophy of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. The RCC manages the care staff in AL by scheduling, evaluating, and supporting frontline care staff while reporting to the HWD. The RCC should be in close contact with resident families and be instrumental in care plan meetings and service issues as they relate to care.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations related to resident care; Support HWD by managing Assisted Living team members; Schedule Assisted Living team members; Evaluate and support frontline care staff; Participate in care plan meetings with families and residents and manage ISPs as resident needs change; Promote company policies to ensure SLC communities provide the best care for residents; Participate in weekly at-risk meetings with HWD, ED, and MCC/MCD; Review and implement processes for operational efficiency such as shower schedules, laundry schedules, and caregiver assignment sheets

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; Acceptable fluency in English to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and third parties; Basic computer skills; Excel for scheduling; Organized, flexible, and even tempered; Ability to communicate with families, frontline team, and community management team; Calm personality with the ability to handle stressful situations; Ability to multitask and follow through; Self-motivated

3-5+ years caregiver experience
