Seasonal Barback Divebar

Join our Food and Beverage team as a Seasonal Barback! The Barback plays a crucial support role to the bartending staff, ensuring smooth and efficient bar service. They are mainly responsible for assisting bartenders in supplying bars with products needed for daily operations and maintain a clean and organized work area. The Barback will be required to maintain inventory levels at established pars and ensure proper storage and rotation of beverage products. They must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills as they will interact with guests in the bar areas.

Responsibilities

Follow up on all service details for Bartenders; Maintain work areas clean and organized; Maintain cleanliness of bar area by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, removing soiled glassware and emptying trash; Report all unsafe conditions immediately; Ensure bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine and beer; Stock areas with linen, glassware and silver; Complete all opening and closing side work, as assigned to include restocking the bar with garnishes, syrups, straws, napkins and all other necessary items; Assist Bartenders in servicing the guest; Take orders, prepare drinks, bus tables, open tabs and process payments; Stock bus station, as assigned; Attend required meetings; Communicate with manager before leaving shift; Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, to include cross training.

Requirements

Strong communications skills to interact with resort customers and associates; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Capable of lifting equipment, cases of beverages & stacking glass racks; Organizational & mat skills to maintain storage areas and proactively replace depleted stock of beverages and supplies; Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
