Security Agent

Under the supervision of the Security Officers Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for performing security duties on the work premises.

Responsibilities

Controlling entries and exits (visitors, employees, clients); Patrolling, on foot or by vehicle, the buildings as well as the yard (AIM Montréal and Laval); Assuring excellent customer service; Ensuring the protection of evidence in the event of an offense; Protecting the premises in case of an incident; Intervening in case of fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, or the presence of hazardous materials; Writing reports and logs; Crime prevention; Locking and unlocking doors; Conducting searches in case of suspicion; Performing any other related tasks

Requirements

Able to work shifts, including nights and weekends; High school diploma; Valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité Privée; Valid first aid certification; Valid Class 5 driver's license; Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken); Clean criminal record; Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally; Excellent judgment, observation, and communication skills; Completed first aid course and holds CPR card; Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
