Semi-Skilled Operative

We are looking for Semi Skilled Operatives to join our growing Scotland Civil Engineering team, supporting the delivery of major power infrastructure projects across the country.

Responsibilities

General civil engineering and groundwork activities; Installation of ducting and drainage systems; Kerbing and finishing works; In-situ concrete placement; Reinforcement installation; Formwork activities; Assisting plant operations and lifting activities; Working safely in accordance with site procedures and risk assessments; Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and productivity; Reporting any safety concerns, near misses or site issues; Supporting colleagues to ensure works are completed safely and on programme

Requirements

CSCS Card; Experience working on civil engineering or groundwork projects; Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards; Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented approach; Willingness to travel and work across Scotland as projects require

Nice to have

Experience in kerbing, drainage installation, ducting works, concrete works, reinforcement fixing, formwork or utility/power infrastructure projects; Telehandler; Dumper; Roller; Slinger Signaller; Plant Vehicle Marshall
