Full-time On-site work

Publication date: 05/11/2026

Salient builds AI agents for regulated financial services, automating loan servicing, compliance, collections, recovery, insurance claims, and disputes for banks, captives, and specialty lenders. The company is backed by a16z and Y Combinator, has raised $75M in Series A funding, and is based in San Francisco. The Senior Product Manager role joins the Marshall team to own one or more product areas end to end, working directly with engineering, design, implementation, customers, and company leadership. Team typically works around 60 hours per week, beginning at 8:00 AM, with four days spent collaborating in person at the San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

Own one or more major product areas within Marshall, with scope sized to their complexity, maturity, and customer needs; Expand compliance, servicing, scorecards, and insights across calls and turn findings into operational action; Connect lender systems through reusable loan management system integrations, canonical data models, and clear system-of-record boundaries; Launch opinionated 0-to-1 workflow automation products on the LMS foundation; Own end-to-end outcomes for your portfolio, from field discovery and strategy through specifications, launch, adoption, and measurable operational impact; Make product decisions that strengthen shared platform capabilities rather than accumulating bespoke customer implementations; Actively own portfolio strategy, boundaries, sequencing, and product quality in partnership with the broader Marshall team

Requirements

Owned meaningful enterprise product areas end to end and can adjust operating depth to the complexity of the problem; Shipped 0-to-1 products from an ambiguous operational problem through production adoption; Goes to the source: travels, sits beside lender operators, and learns real workflows, exceptions, and workarounds; Defines success through customer adoption and operational outcomes, not feature delivery alone; Can reason about integrations, data models, workflow state, permissions, migrations, auditability, and source-of-truth boundaries; Forms a product opinion and knows what to standardize, configure, or decline; Has instincts for regulated, high-consequence systems and safe failure behavior; Communicates clearly with frontline operators, lender executives, risk teams, and engineers

Nice to have

Experience with loan servicing, collections, loan management systems, core banking, or adjacent financial operations; Experience building integration, data, workflow automation, system-of-record, compliance, or quality-management products; Background in contact-center analytics or AI-powered enterprise software

Benefits
