1 on 1 Middle School Math Tutor

Think Academy US is a 100% owned subsidiary of TAL Education Group (NYSE: TAL) and an education technology company providing K-12 extra-curricular learning services through science and technology. Think Academy specializes in online math education for students in North America, with a curriculum aligned to U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS) across upper elementary, middle school, and high school levels. The company is seeking Remote Math Tutors to support project testing and ongoing curriculum development. Intended start date: as soon as possible. Job type: part-time (less than 20 hours/week).

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework; Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time; Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction; Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above; Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones); Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate (highly preferred); Majors in Math, Education, or related fields (preferred); Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese (preferred)
