Apartment Maintenance Manager - The Avalyn

We are hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for our apartment community, The Avalyn, in Chula Vista, CA. Maintenance Managers make our apartment communities great places to live. As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance operation, oversee apartment turns and preventative maintenance, manage vendors and budgets, and develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a maintenance team; Oversee preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests; Manage vendors, budgets, and daily maintenance operations; Communicate maintenance and capital improvement needs to management; Ensure compliance with AIR standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines; Deliver exceptional service to residents and team members

Requirements

At least 3 years of maintenance and facilities management experience within the property management industry; 1+ years of leadership experience; Reliable transportation; Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts; Ability and willingness to perform physical work as needed; Ability to read, write, and speak English; Passionate about leading teams; Mechanically inclined and solution-focused; Customer service oriented; Highly organized and detail-oriented; A strong troubleshooter and problem solver; Motivated to deliver results
