Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence or opposing shifts; Lead store team members in servicing customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure adequate staffing of the retail sales counter during peak hours; Assist in setting team member goals and providing coaching/mentoring; Assist in the hiring process by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating candidates; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely; Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Ensure team members comply with company policies; Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures; Maintain store building, parking lot, signage/lighting, computer hardware, and delivery vehicles

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
