Floorplan Analyst

The Floorplan Analyst is responsible for developing and executing the space allocation for the Celebrations Department in each retail account using Blue Yonder Floor. The floorplan analyst will assist their manager in developing the allocation strategy for each retailer or retail group. The space allocation strategy will ensure each department is productive and profitable across each business category. The floorplan analyst will execute the fixture, signage, accessory and product order for each assigned retail account.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the space allocation for the Celebrations Department in each retail account using Blue Yonder Floor; Assist manager in developing the allocation strategy for each retailer or retail group; Execute the fixture, signage, accessory and product order for each assigned retail account; Execute space allocation at both the Macro (category level) and micro (occasion level) within each department; Execute all needed account layout updates to create a celebrations department at retail including planogram merchandising and assignment; Collaborate with spaceplanners when new planograms are needed; Evaluate the performance of floorplans and identify opportunities to increase retail productivity over time; Create and maintain all assigned floorplans for American Greetings; Participate in executing continuous improvement opportunities; Analyze productivity, inventory efficiency and profitability for floorplans and suggest areas of opportunity; Ensure all retail updates are completed in the most cost effective manner; Manage productivity of space through optimizations; Accurate and efficient management of product, planogram, store and assortment data; Efficient creation and maintenance of floorplans; Enhance the reporting capabilities to enrich American Greeting's business processes

Requirements

0-3 years related experience; Strong analytic skills; Strong financial knowledge; Clear, crisp communication and presentation skills; Bachelors degree in Business or related subject

Nice to have

Consumer packaged goods experience in product management and/or merchandising; Space planning/merchandising experience; Blue Yonder/JDA space and/or floor experience; Microsoft Office, especially Excel
