Senior Solutions Engineer, Acquisition | East Coast | Remote

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Acquisition for its Enterprise Solutions Engineering team. The team consists of in-house, customer-facing product experts who educate potential and existing customers through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing interaction, and partner closely with the Sales team to qualify and close opportunities.

Responsibilities

Join as an early member of a high growth team solving technical and customer problems; Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers; Own the technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities; Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers; Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop on products and the competitive landscape; Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems; Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create public and internal enablement material

Requirements

5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space; Ideally located in Greater NYC or Boston Area; First class written and oral communication skills; Technical mindset and a desire to grow technically; Self-motivated, initiative, and creative; Ability to learn to work and collaborate with an international, remote-first team; Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership in a varied, complex startup environment
