Strategy & Business Analyst Intern

The team's mission is to support strategic decision-making of the different business units in Western Europe, including Carpooling, BlaBlaCar Buses, and Train. The team delivers reports, produces analyses, builds dashboards and runs financial models. It also helps steer the company's strategy more broadly, in particular by supporting the Sustainability and Marketing department. As an intern, the role is to deliver strategic analyses and reporting tools to help the teams improve both performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

Building a strong understanding of the key levers impacting carpool & train performance and recommending actions to improve operations; Building positive and trustful relationships with business teams to identify their needs, challenges and opportunities; Improving the current reporting framework and delivering reports using Tableau software; Supporting the Western Europe team on ad-hoc analyses; Contributing to developing ESG analytical tools to support the Sustainability manager

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Business or Engineering School seeking a 6-month internship starting January 2027; 1 to 2 previous internship experiences in consulting, finance, business intelligence or other relevant analytical position; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent communication skills, ability/experience in synthesizing and communicating data clearly; Solid knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation programs (e.g. Google Slides); Thorough attention to details; Full working proficiency in English; Fit with our BlaBlaPrinciples; Having an internship agreement from your school or university is mandatory

Nice to have

Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau); Proficiency in SQL (or eager to learn); Knowledge of French
