Senior DevOps Platform Engineer (AWS)

Your new company 

You will join a technology‑driven organization building a modern, scalable cloud platform on AWS. Your new role 

• Building and maintaining core platform components: SSO, access management, clusters, networking, CI/CD, observability
• Owning Terraform modules, baseline configurations, and guardrails for distributed teams
• Designing and evolving platform “golden paths" - secure defaults, templates, and standards
• Managing platform IaC: Terraform modules, state design, multi‑account governance
• Integrating with team‑owned CDK stacks through stable platform contracts
• Leading the evolution of platform abstraction layers and service catalogs
• Designing and managing a multi‑account AWS landing zone (Organizations, SCPs, permission boundaries)
• Owning developer onboarding patterns (IAM Identity Center access, automation, pipelines)
• Building secure cross‑account deployment workflows (GitHub OIDC, least privilege)
• Operating and evolving ECS and EKS clusters used by hundreds of services
• Establishing best practices for container execution, networking, and autoscaling
• Managing central networking components (VPC, TGW, Route53)
• Ensuring secure east-west communication across accounts
• Providing self‑service tools and templates for teams (pipelines, service definitions, actions)
• Abstracting platform complexity to enable fast and safe deployments
• Owning documentation, workshops, patterns, and architectural guidance
• Operating platform‑wide logging, metrics, and tracing systems
• Ensuring operational standards and reliability across all platform components

What you'll need to succeed 

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience as a Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer operating production systems at scale
• Deep expertise with AWS, especially multi‑account setups and organizational governance
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform (modules, state, guardrails)
• Solid experience running EKS and/or ECS in production
• Strong background in CI/CD, GitHub workflows, OIDC, and secure deployment patterns
• Experience designing developer platforms and internal self‑service tooling
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, SCPs, permission boundaries, and secure networking
• Operational excellence mindset: monitoring, logging, alerting, SLOs, incident handling

• Professional experience with Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot) or Node.js/TypeScript
• Familiarity with modern API design, service runtime concerns, and containerized workloads
• Ability to read, debug, and contribute to application code when needed
