Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Python skills, especially for automation, orchestration, and reusable components
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of analytical data structures
- Experience with Spark / PySpark and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
- Ability to understand business context and convert it into technical data solutions
- Experience working with cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and iterating toward scalable solutions
- Min. 3 years of experience
- Maximum 2 weeks' notice period
Core Responsibilities
- Design and build automated data pipelines and reusable data assets using Python
- Translate business problems and analytical needs into well‑structured datasets and data products
- Develop frameworks and utilities for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and enrichment
- Partner with business, analytics, and product teams to interpret data requirements and define data outputs
- Enable faster insights by improving data accessibility, documentation, and usability
- Implement data quality checks and lightweight governance to ensure trust in data assets
- Continuously improve existing pipelines through refactoring, automation, and performance optimization
- Contribute to experimentation with new tools, patterns, and approaches to data engineering
