CNC Machinist in Vieremä, Finland- Portal & Horizontal Machining Centers

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist for our customer in Vieremä, Finland.

This is a great opportunity for professionals with experience in CNC machining to work in a modern and versatile workshop environment. The company specializes in small to medium series production using advanced CNC technology and CAM programming.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality components on one of the following machines:

1. Large Portal Machining Center (Hartford HSA 323EA)

• Work with components up to 1500 x 3000 mm.
• Operate and program a machining center with an angular head (2.5° increments), enabling machining from multiple directions.
• Use Fanuc / Hartrol Expert 3 control.
• Produce mainly small series (1-10 pcs).
• Program parts using CAM software (Mastercam 2024, Wincam - other experience also considered).
• Perform accurate measurements using calipers, bore gauges, and micrometers.

2. Horizontal Machining Center (Hyundai KIA HS630)

• Work with components up to approx. 900 x 900 mm.
• Operate a horizontal machining center with two pallets and 60 - tool magazine.
• Use Fanuc 18i control.
• Produce mainly small to medium series (1-30 pcs).
• Program parts using CAM software (Mastercam 2024, Wincam - other experience also considered).
• Perform accurate measurements using calipers, bore gauges, and micrometer.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to program CNC machines using CAM software.
• Experience with Fanuc-controlled machining centers required.
• For the portal machine role, prior experience in using/programming angular heads is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings independently.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and problem-solving.
• Competence in using common measuring instruments.
• Independent and proactive working attitude.
• Good English skills for communication and following instructions.
