KITCHEN HELP

• FULLTIME

“Eetcafé de Boerderij' (translated to English: Restaurant the Farm) is a modern restaurant with an authentic touch of an old farm based on a little island, called Ameland, by the North sea. In the kitchen we work with the latest and most modern equipment.

Do you like working in the kitchen and have a passion for preparing tasty dishes? Join our team!

HOW YOUR DAY IS GOING TO BE LIKE

• You  make sure you have enough ingredients during the busy hours
• You help your colleagues in the kitchen to make the most wonderful dishes
• You ensure a neat and clean workspace

You will work in a team of colleagues who work hard every day to give our guests an unforgettable experience and to grow our restaurant even further.

We prefer someone with experience! But are you not very handy in the kitchen yet? No problem, we will teach you the skills! Of course you are collegial, passionate, ambitious and you want to have fun with us! We hope you love jokes and fancy a drink with your colleagues at times.

MUST-HAVES

• You are at least 20 years old and you want to live and work (temporarily) on Ameland (a island in the Netherlands)
• You are not afraid to work hard
• You are stress resistant
• You have a sense of humour and can handle a joke
• You have to be an European resident!

HOUSING

We understand that you probably do not own a house in the Netherlands, so we can arrange a place to sleep for you.

We have an apartment for our staff with shared dorms for females and males.

It is in walking distance from your workplace. Furthermore, we have a meal ready for you every day. You can also join in on your days off or cook yourself a meal in the house.

On your days off we can lend you a bike so that you can go to the beach or elsewhere on the island!

CONTRACT

Full time working week (5 days or more)

We offer you a minimum wage according to Dutch law.
If you are 18 years old - 9,36 euro per h
19 - 10,80 euro per h
20 - 12,24 euro per h
21 and older - 14,40 euro per h .


Attention, to get a contract and earn some money, you have to be an European resident with a burger service number (BSN).
