We are partnering with a global titan in the FMCG sector to find an expert SAP MDG Functional Architect. In this pivotal role, you will act as the strategic bridge between global business leadership and technical execution teams. You won’t just be managing data; you will be designing the governance blueprints that power one of the world’s most complex financial ecosystems. As the organization synchronizes its global operations, we need a visionary who can translate complex data strategies into actionable functional roadmaps.
Contract: 3-month initial B2B contract (with a strong potential to extend to 6 months).

Proposal Creation & Advancement: Leading the end-to-end creation of master data governance proposals, defining scope, business value, and functional architecture.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Acting as the central liaison between business leaders and IT. You will educate stakeholders on the "why" behind data processes and secure buy-in for new initiatives.
Process Architecture: Designing and standardizing governance workflows and master data processes, ensuring perfect alignment with SAP CFIN frameworks.
Execution Handoff: Creating exhaustive functional documentation to ensure the technical execution teams can develop solutions without ambiguity.
Data Advocacy: Promoting the importance of data quality, standards, and lifecycles across diverse global functions.
Experience: Proven track record as a Functional Architect or Consultant in Master Data Governance (MDG) and Master Data Management (MDM).
SAP Ecosystem Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of SAP MDG and SAP Central Finance (CFIN) is essential.
Communication Excellence: Exceptional ability to present complex strategies to executive audiences and translate them into clear documentation.
Timezone Alignment: Full readiness to work during EST morning hours (e.g., 14:00 – 18:00 CET) to ensure collaboration with US-based leadership.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and technical requirements without needing to be "hands-on" with coding.
Language: Fluency in English (C1/C2) is a must for daily global collaboration.
