Application Support Engineer (with SQL + Ruby) M/F

Your new company 

For our client from Wrocław, we are looking for a Junior Application Support Engineer with SQL and Ruby knowledge.
 
Your new role 

• Issue Investigation & Resolution

1. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer-reported issues across all support tiers for the platform.
2. Perform root-cause analysis using application logs, database queries, Rails console, and source code inspection where required.
3. Execute data corrections, configuration changes, and apply patches or remedial scripts.
4. Manage support cases within SLA targets (see Section 5), maintaining accurate and detailed records in Zendesk.

• Customer Engagement

1. Maintain a professional and proactive relationship with assigned customer accounts.
2. Act as the technical point of contact on support calls and in written correspondence.
3. Understand customer environments, workflows, and business context to provide relevant guidance.

• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

1. Coordinate with support colleagues across the US, UK, Israel, and Poland, balancing workloads across time zones.
2. Contribute to and maintain the internal knowledge base: triage playbooks, troubleshooting guides, and resolution documentation via Viva Engage and internal wikis.
3. Provide structured, evidence-based feedback to Product and Development teams on recurring issues and improvement opportunities.

• Deployment & Maintenance

1. Support testing and deployment of new releases, upgrades, and patches in coordination with customers and internal teams.
2. Assist with environment configuration and platform maintenance activities.
