Global Vendor & Procurement Manager (m/f)

Opis stanowiska:

• be responsible for leading execution of Sub-category Sourcing Strategies and ensure appropriate governance, including tracking and review the category performance, plan implementation and use relevant information to determine opportunities for further improvement to category strategy definition and target setting,
• be responsible for contributing to the category savings targets globally and across all regions,
• apply global policies, standards and processes including the agreed strategic sourcing process to deliver robust terms and conditions that manages Procurement’s service delivery and commercial risk,
• lead global and geographic contract negotiations, vendor management and drive geographic continuous improvement initiatives for the assigned domain,
• to continuously assess the global and regional market environment, supply base and identify major industry trends and threats,
• to manage long-term relationships with the global suppliers, define and initiate complexity reduction initiatives and standardisation programmes through involvement of all regions,
• assist the supplier custodian and contract owner in the resolution of escalated supplier issues and ensure appropriate supplier management and performance metrics have been agreed. If required, lead disputes with suppliers and secure appropriate outcomes,
• determine the scope, scale and impact of any new products or services required. Assess the supply market for these requirements and reflect this in the category strategy and targets. Ensure any supplier or supply market innovations that are relevant to the business are communicated and reflected through changed business requirements,
• responsible for providing analysis of supplier proposals ensuring it is reflected into the business case,
• understand the portfolio of demand for pipeline projects and services with suppliers in line with agreed strategies and provide business challenge in the case of conflict,
• identify synergies and commonalities across projects/functions of suppliers in use,
• perform contract change management and contract drafting/review/negotiation and approvals for contracts within delegated authority,
• support all contract drafting including change management, and support obtaining of contract approvals within delegated authority,
• manage and resolve contractual performance issues. Lead contract risks, issue management, dispute resolution and escalate where required.

Wymagania:

• 8+ years post graduate work experience in Sourcing, Procurement & Contracting of any Information Technology/Digital categories,
• strong commercial negotiator, able to negotiate contract changes, draft contracts and to analyse & manage supplier cost implications,
• experience in negotiating Transition Agreements as part of group Divestment & Acquisition strategies,
• solid professional experience in Source to Contract cycle including working knowledge of e-Sourcing tools,
• thorough experience managing complex, high risk, high value IT supplier relationships in multi-vendor environments, using IT supplier management processes and standards (Technology Vendor Management) or SRM principles,
• experience in managing complex, high risk projects and programmes to improve vendor performance and service delivery,
• full understanding of the category cost drivers and of the factors that influence TCO for Technology spends,
• detailed understanding of financial evaluation and interpretation of supplier’s records and their key cost and business drivers,
• focused on delivering results,
• strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships working across geographic boundaries,
• effective communicator (English).
