Procurement Manager

We are currently seeking experienced candidates for the position of Strategic Purchasing Manager for our client from the manufacturing industry located near Wrocław. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and Implementing Procurement Strategies:
Creating and executing plans to optimize the purchasing process, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Supplier Management:
Identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Negotiation and Contract Management:
Negotiating favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and minimize risks.
• Budget Management:
Managing the procurement budget, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Risk Management:
Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing mitigation strategies.
• Compliance and Policy Adherence:
Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory levels and optimizing inventory management processes.
• Reporting and Analysis:
Preparing reports on procurement expenditures, savings, and performance metrics.

Key Requirements
Experience
•Minimum 5+ years in procurement, preferably in food industry.
• Proven track record in managing suppliers and cost control.
Skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
• Experience in contract management and negotiation.
• Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in Polish, English (written and spoken).
